Pet Acupuncture
When used in combination with other treatment modalities or by itself, acupuncture can help control or manage acute or chronic illness.
Pet Dental Care
Bacteria, biofilm or other organic debris can cause build-up on a pet’s teeth. This can harden into tartar, possibly causing gingivitis, receding gums, tooth loss or pain. One solution? Regular veterinary dental cleanings!
Pet Diagnostic Imagery
Our diagnostic imagery services are non-invasive methods for us to take a peek at what is going on inside your pet. These technologies allow us to work towards a more accurate diagnosis.
Pet Emergencies
If you notice something wrong with your pet and your regular veterinarian isn’t available, call us and we can provide some direction. If there’s something you can do to help right in your own home, we’ll suggest it.
Pet Flea Prevention
Fleas are most commonly found at the base of the tail. You will normally see what we call “flea dirt”, which is the digested blood. It looks like ground pepper in your pet’s fur.
Pet Heartworm
Heartworm disease is a serious, progressive disease. The earlier it is detected, the better the chances the pet will recover.
Pet In-House Laboratory
Our in-house laboratory allows us to perform a number of diagnostic tests including bloodwork, urinalysis, fecal analysis, gram stains, heartworm testing, Lyme testing, and FeLV/FIV testing.

Your pet can be at risk for intestinal parasites whether they are an outdoor cat or even if you take your dog for a walk or to the dog park.

We use laser therapy on a daily basis with our canine rehabilitation & pain management patients, and acupuncture patients and we have also implemented it into our surgical protocols.

Pet Wellness Services
The services we offer at the Village Veterinary Clinic of Hamburg are available for your pet during times of wellness or ill-health. We do not ascribe to any “one size fits all” doctrine of veterinary medicine and realize there is a correct, customized path for each animal patient.
